We are a busy Real Estate and Mortgage firm located in the heart of St. John's, serving clients all over the North East Avalon. We are currently looking for an Office Administrator / Exec Assistant to help us with day to day operations. You will be directly involved with the handling and and administration of all of our real estate and mortgage files.
What we are looking for is an office ninja, someone who can keep things moving and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be with plenty of time to spare. You will be helping service our clients on a regular basis, dealing with multiple 3rd parties, including law firms, lenders, appraisers, via email, phone calls, etc. We need someone who can take care of the time sensitive details and help us put more hours back into our days so we can provide the next level of service to our clientele.
This will be a fast paced, constantly evolving position that could see the potential for income to rise as you learn to identify opportunities and help us implement new and more effective systems. The right candidate for this position thrives on order and is the sworn enemy of chaos. You are a creative type that's always three steps ahead, because you already know what happens next. You are also bold enough that you can just "get it done" without asking permission.
Within 60-90 days you should be up to speed on our company procedures and comfortable using our industry specific software. From there, at least 60-75% of the work could be done remotely as long as you have a phone and a computer with internet access.
3-5 years previous administrative experience in an education, banking, accounting, real estate, financial service office (or similar) is preferred.
